- Do I have to decide on which package I get right away?
- How many images do I get and will I receive a disc?
- Do I need to have a second photographer?
- Do you travel?
- What should I wear to an engagement session?
- How long does it take to get the photos back?
You can definitely decide on other options at any time throughout the process. If you are certain you would like to use me as your photographer, but are not certain if you would like a second shooter or an album, you can decide this at a later time.
Depending on whether or not you have a second shooter for your wedding, you will get anywhere from 800-1000 images. I will choose the best images of the day… artistically enhance all of these images… and then I will send you a thumb drive of all the images in a beautifully packaged box!!! :)
I have shot many many weddings alone and do a very good job of documenting the entire day alone. I do, however, highly recommend a second photographer for a few reasons… Second shooter generally spends the day with the grooms and allows for full documentation of both bride and groom throughout the day. A second shooter is so important when bride is walking down the aisle. It's nearly impossible to get both the bride and grooms face with just one shooter. A second shooter also allows for someone to be present during cocktail hour. This is a time that I'm generally taking family photos, bridal party photos, and bride/groom photos. Without a second shooter, the cocktail hour and all of your lovely guests will not have any photos of themselves. Finally, having a second shooter gives an added comfort level just knowing that the days events are going on to more than one memory card. :)
Absolutely and I look forward to it!!!! Please send me to any and all destinations. I simply ask for the cost of a flight and two nights lodging… :)
Wear what you are comfortable in and what you think you look good in. Cohesive colors and looks that lean on the side of timeless are perfect. Layers always work well and give you a chance to change up your looks throughout the session.
What to avoid: • Too much bling • Overly busy patterns • Anything too trendy • Logos or branding
It depends on the time of year and how busy I am traveling for weddings… The quickest is anywhere from 3-4 weeks. It will never take more than 6 weeks. :)
